To Become A Saint There are people who keep little statues of saints in their car. But there is another kind of car saint. Picture yourself in your car and it feels like the car ahead of you is going 20 miles per hour. You cant pass. You are anxious; you are upset; you are worried about being late for work, and you start developing intense hatred for the person in front of you. You have no peace, you have no love and you have no joy. The problem was that your goal was to get to work. Thats the goal of a worker, but it is not the goal of a saint. The Bible says you are to be a saint of righteousness, of love, and of peace. The main goal is this: love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself, and then that slow car never would have hindered your goal. Realize the challenge now is to stay at peace. Seek not to get ahead, but seek to be a saint. Because you do need a saint in your car, but it has to be you Todays Mission Today set your main goals to goodness and loving God. Make it your aim to always step towards being a saint for Messiah. Psalm 16:3 3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. And these God-chosen lives all around— what splendid friends they make! Life gives you options The questions and mysteries give you a chance to learn. The challenges give you an opportunity to make a positive difference. The people with whom you disagree give you a way to see life from a different perspective. The disappointments you endure can put you on a path toward becoming more determined and effective. Instead of complaining about what’s negative, you can look for what’s positive. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, you can feel fortunate to be where you are. When there’s nothing interesting or exciting going on, you have the chance to exercise and strengthen your imagination. When the world feels gray and dreary, you can find unique, original beauty in the unlikeliest of places. Every day, life gives you options. What you choose from those options and what you do with them, determines where you are at the end of the day.Right now, you have many options. Choose the most positive, life-affirming, interesting, loving and fulfilling ones, and the reality of your life will follow along. The Power of Co-operation No matter how capable, talented, efficient or extraordinary an individual may be, without co-operation from others, no single person can develop their personal skills. Neither can we implement a task without the assistance of a parent, a teacher, or mentor. For example, an actor or singer needs musicians, producers and directors and especially an audience in order to express themselves successfully, despite their innate capacity for creativity and entertaining others. Being able to appreciate the contribution of others and being open to that influence always facilitates the fulfillment of task or a talent.
