To DTI: May I just refer to you my concern regarding my cable - TopicsExpress

To DTI: May I just refer to you my concern regarding my cable provider called Cignal. I know everyones familiar with this. Im pretty much unsure if this is part of your job but this has something to do with me being a consumer. Last July 16 when our area, Cavite, was badly hit by the typhoon, we lost our reception, just like our water supply and electricity. It lasted for like 5 days. Not to mention that we could hardly connect with the Cignal Customer Service because of high volume of calls due to recent typhoon. Since its our first time we experience this, we thought theyre working hard to fix all the connection issues with their subscriber. Early this morning when I finally reached their Customer Service. First, it was very unfair that we should pay service charge for the repair, which was caused by the typhoon. Secondly, they can only give us rebates from the time they received the complaints (ibig sabihin ngaun lang ako naka tawag, so mula lang today yung rebates ko). We have not been getting a reception for nearly 3 weeks now. What could DTI do with this? Not everyones getting into contract has managed to read from start to end whats written in the terms and condition. (Kung sinabe lang nila na pag binagyo at nawala ang signal, kailangan magbayad, Im pretty much sure clients wouldnt subscribe with them). Secondly, they have the responsibility to keep the stability of their signal even after any weather disturbance. (just like Merlaco, PLDT and Maynilad). It should not be a burden to any client. I hope you take time reading my complaints. Will be expecting your reply.
