Im just sowing seeds of doubt so that others will ask the same questions I do. Youll find your own answers, of that I have no doubt. Sometimes the simplest answer is not the answer, because it is just too easy and to internally inconsistent, like this one in my opinion. From Pamela Olson: The criminals in Paris were not Muslims. They were (most likely from what Ive seen) totalitarian sociopaths operating under a convenient banner. This horrific murder was not a pious protest against the defamation of a religious icon. It was an attempt to provoke European society into pogroms against French Muslims, at which point al-Qaeda recruitment would suddenly exhibit some successes instead of faltering in the face of [French Muslims who are overwhelmingly uninterested inviolence]. “Sharpening the contradictions” is the strategy of sociopaths and totalitarians, aimed at unmooring people from their ordinary insouciance and preying on them, mobilizing their energies and wealth for the perverted purposes of a self-styled great leader. Disgusting. Also disgusting -- and playing right into their hands -- is people who blame all Muslims for the actions of a few criminals. I dont hear anyone requiring all Christians or all white people to apologize for the NAACP bombing in Colorado, or for the existence of Dick Cheney.
