I KNOW MANY OF YOU DONT LIVE IN NORTHWOOD ANYMORE BUT IF YOU COULD PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU DO KNOW THAT LIVES IN NORTHWOOD WOULD BE GREAT. I NEED YOUR HELP, THE LAST LEVY ONLY LOST BY 2 VOTES, THANK YOU!) ATTENTION NORTHWOOD RESIDENTS/VOTERS....PLEASE HELP ME FIGHT TO KEEP THE BEAUTIFUL NORTHWOOD SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND VOTE AGAINST THE TAX LEVY ON TUESDAY!!! (PLEASE SHARE AND RE-POST THIS TO ANY NORTHWOOD RESIDENTS YOU KNOW) Tuesday is a very important day for Northwood Residents. Apparently they want to tear down the perfectly good Northwood School Buildings and build 1 new building for all grades and RAISE TAXES SUBSTANTIALLY FOR ALL NORTHWOOD RESIDENTS. THIS IS TOTAL BS!!! The majority of Northwood Residents absoluely CAN NOT afford this major tax hike. Those buildings are made out of steel, concrete and brick and will be there for another 100+ years. They are pulling the same thing all school districts pull when they want a tax levy to pass by saying that the buildings are in desperate need of repairs and that it just isnt worth fixing them up. If this is true for Northwood Schools that the roof leaks, the pluming and electrical is bad with many other problems then they are putting our kids in danger and the SUPERINTENDENT, SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS AND OTHERS NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS! You just dont bull-doze your house down when its 50, 75 years old or older and most houses are made from wood, not steel, brick and concrete like Northwood Schools are, you maintain your property. First off if they do need maintenance it should have been kept up with all along the way to keep our kids safe and if it was not done and according to the Superintendent it wasnt, then he needs to go, along with others that are responsible for this. If it does need maintenance, no matter what it is you can do this for a fraction of the cost vs building new and now they even have state money to do that!... Well that is if they dont give their self a big fat raise first! AGAIN, PLEASE HELP ME KEEP THOSE BEAUTIFUL NORTHWOOD SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND VOTE AGAINST THE TAX LEVY ON TUESDAY!!! Believe me, if this levy does pass it wont be long before they will ask for another operating levy to keep the new buildings going and they will say if it dont pass that they will have to make big cuts and they will start with sports and busing like always. Lets not fall into this trap like many other school districts do. Every time a levy is passed the very first thing they do is give their self a big fat raise. THE MAJORITY OR NORTHWOOD RESIDENTS INCOME DONT EVEN COME CLOSE TO WHAT THE AVERAGE NORTHWOOD SCHOOL TEACHERS IS! PLEASE HELP ME STOP THIS AND KEEP OUR BEAUTIFUL NORTHWOOD SCHOOL BUILDINGS, VOTE AGAINST THE LEVY ON TUESDAY!!! THANK YOU AND PLEASE PASS THIS ON!!! (I THINK THE SUPERINTENDENT FOR NORTHWOOD SCHOOLS NEEDS TO FIND ANOTHER TOWN HE CAN GO TO AND TEAR DOWN THEIR SCHOOLS AND RAISE THEIR TAXES......HOW ABOUT HIS HOME TOWN?)
