And you know that that other guy is not the right person for the girl, and that he wont be able to keep her happy? Sure, that other guy is better looking than you are, probably richer than you are, and may be more clever than you are. But you are convinced that she is being taken for a ride, and that you are the one who can keep her truly happy. Ever been in this situation before? Of course you have been! Who are you kidding? What are you supposed to do under these circumstances? Watch her get used and then abused? No. You dont resign to your fate so soon. You rise up to the occasion. And if you cannot turn the tide in your favour, swim against it. True, once she gets her heart broken, she will be looking for support and a shoulder to cry and all that shit. But thats not how you do things. You cant wait for the fire to burn her. You cant wait for her spirit to die. You cant let her suffer and then do it the easy way by being her balm. So what do you do then? Fight? Yeah, fight. For the good. For the truth. For love. Dont be the one that mends her broken heart. Be the one that never lets her heart get broken.
