In fact, the two names you mention (Escobar and Barranco) originate in northern Spain (Castilla area). I know the Spanish genealogy .. so here you have the text of its origin and Barranco Coat of Arms. And yes. In northern Spain we are many blondes and redheads with green eyes and blue people. It is said that the Atlanteans .. when they fled the destruction of Atlantis came here, north of Spain. In medieval times of the Inquisition, the Church, Span, burned at the stake for saying all redheads were witches ... * El Barranco is Castilian surname. Originally from the mountains of Burgos (northern Castilla). It originated in the house of Valdivieso. In the time of King Alfonso VI A nobleman of that lineage beat a group of Moors and even when alone, put to flight, except their captain. The Christian knight managed to grab the Moor and tossed into a ravine. The gentleman took the last name of Barranco. * The surname is also Castilian Escobar. Mountains of Leon (North Epaña), where by Tierra de Campos and spread throughout Castile. In 1879 the Marquis of Valdeiglesias was awarded to Don José Ignacio Escobar. Spain and Portugal are on the same peninsula (territory) and obviously has been much human exchange between the two countries (mainly in the north). As with the south of France (much trade with northern Spain). Hugs. 10 hours ago · Edited · Unlike · 2 Like · · Promote · ShareFrom me to Maria JesusThen from her response.
