To, The Editor, Sub :Regarding your news item with the heading " Gaya Bomber may be of Assamese Origin" Sir, This is in reference to the report published in your news paper on July 23rd on page No. 10 with the heading " Gaya Bomber may be of Assamese Origin" we strongly take exception on the manner in which the heading has been displayed. It leaves a damaging impression for the Assamese Community in the minds of many readers who are not aware of the ground realities. Moreover, till now it is just an assumption that the culprit could be of Assamese Origin. The words " Assamese Origin " used so frivolously bears testimony to a very amateurish and irresponsible kind of reporting not expected from an esteemed daily such as yours.
