To all AMWIK journalists members.... The United States Embassy will be hosting Journalists from the U.S. the week of January 26, 2014. Local journalists will benefit from their training on topics of Journalism ethics, reporting, newsroom management and social media. The Training will be on Thursday January 30, 2014 starting at 2.00p.m., but participants will be required to arrive at the embassy at least by 1.15p.m. AMWIK has been given 25 slots to participate in the training and priority will be given to members who are working in the mainstream media. However, members who do not work in the mainstream media can still confirm by sending us detailed information on how they will use the information gathered to benefit their organizations or others. The selected Participants will have to bring along their original National ID’s for access into the embassy.
