She teaches Peace Studies, Nonviolence, International Security, Educational Psychology and Education for Peace in the undergraduate level. She is a trainer in the areas of Peace Education, Conflict Resolution, Peer Mediation, Nonviolence, International Humanitarian Law, Leadership, Values Education, Women, Peace and Security, and Educational Psychology. She is in the Steering Committee of the Sulong CARHRIHL (a third party network that monitors the compliance of the Government and the National Democratic Front to their substantive agreement to respect human rights and the international humanitarian law) and the Philippine Action Network to Control Arms (PHILANCA). She was in the Preparatory Committee that led the drafting of the National Action Plan (NAP) on UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 1820. She is co-convener of the Women Engaged in Action on 1325 (WE Act 1325), a civil society network of peace and women’s organizations that works on implementing the NAP on UNSCRs 1325 and 1820. She is Chair of the Subcommittee on Justice and Peace Education under the Programs Committee of the Catholic Education Association of the Philippines (CEAP). She is a member of the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP), IANSA-Women’s Network, Asia-Pacific Network for International Education and Values Education (APNIEVE), the Peace Educators Network of the Philippines (PEN), the Philippine Council for Peace and Global Education (PCPGE), the Mindanao Solidarity Network, Pax Christi-Pilipinas, and the Sowing Peace for Mindanao Network, among others.
