To all concerned... Thank you for you kind words and inspiration... You and our glorious Constitution are what I defend at sea so again thank you. I spent three hours getting grilled on every possible aspect of the art and science of Submarine navigation by a a group of Anavs that have a combined experience of two hundred plus years in the art. I held most of my ground and was told that my knowledge was impressive and far exceeded expectations... All went well but there was a but... I briefed a transit I am very familiar with... Having navigated it four times within the past three years... They wish to see the full extent of my capabilities and have directed me to build a full piloting plan for a port I have never been to and brief it before them. Challenge Accepted. I am not at all frustrated actually... As the weight of the duty of an Anav is great and I understand that I must prove all that I can before taking the lives of an entire crew into my hands... Ill be in touch in a month and a half when this trial by fire takes place... After I return from beneath the deep blue sea.
