To all members of the Club. Enclosed is the memo of Hon. Dechaves instructing the strict implementation of the fees under Section 151 of Manila Ordinance 8331. Since there is clearly no fees for open courts without electricity, I suggest you continue playing at Dapitan Court. Lito is taking attendance. Sign it and make sure you indicate the time you play. This will prove that there is no electricity used. You are not breaking any law or regulation if you do this. If you stop playing at the Court because of this Ordinance you are allowing them to implement a CLEARLY WRONG interpretation of this Ordinance. I explained to Lito that he has no authority to padlock the Court. Instead, in compliance with the Ordinance and Dechaves Memo, he can padlock the switchbox for the lights until there is proof of payment shown for the lights. Please continue paying our usual club court fees of P25 to Benny. Rest assured that we will account for every peso and use these funds to buy for the much needed apog and other repairs to make the Court safe and in good condition. We will also write to PRB and MASCO informing me in details with photos the maintenance and improvements we have done with the Court.
