To all my facebook friends in or around Chicago. Or if you want to travel to Chicago area, there is going to be a sled dog dryland race this Saturday starting at 9:00 am. For those who live in and around Indiana/Illinois and always wanted to see this type of sport, or interested in getting your own pet (that is how I started) involved in the sport, come to this event. It is also great way to demonstrate various aspects of this sport: rigs, bikes, scooters, and even canicross. I personally will only be doing the rig class due to the rules and the number of dogs I have. But this is the closest race your going to find without traveling 6-8 hours. So, come on out! I do not know if they charge or not. If so, it would not be much. I am thinking its probably free. So, with many fall festivals coming to a close and nothing to do between Thanksgiving and Christmas, come on out! I would love to see friends come! So, all you Indiana/Illinois folks, that is you!
