To all my family and friends. Our lives are always in motion. We are moving forward at all times. We never move backwards, only forward. We can look back, (these would be memories), but we can never go back. An analogy would be as follows. You are driving down the highway in a car. It is a special kind of car. It has no breaks, no gas pedal, and no reverse. It does have an endless supply of fuel. But, it can only move forward, and it does just that. You can’t stop the car, or reverse the car. It moves forward at a constant and steady pace. The only control you have over the car is the steering. You can direct the car. At some point up ahead you will come upon two different highways. One is very narrow, but straight. The other is very wide, but with many curves. There is a warning sign before the broad highway that says, “This highways is easy to drive upon, and it offers many pleasures. BUT, it ends in certain death. Now remember, you can only steer that car, not stop it or back it up. Which highway will you take? And oh, the narrow highway has lots of bumps, some pain and suffering, but ends in life. Moral? Choose Jesus no matter the cost.
