To all my fellow Veterans I want to say thank you for standing by my side. I want everyone to think about an amazing fact that came to me this morning. Think about the first soldiers on the battlefields during the revolutionary war. They continued to serve until new recruits joined and fought to defend this nation for years to come. That has continued to go on for over 200 years, older members who fought in previous battles and wars commanded and stood side by side the new recruits who in turn command and fight the future battles.
