To all my friends, If you wonder what is happening in Venezuela right now or if you have no idea that there is a war between the national guard (backed by the President) and the people (headed by Students) in Venezuela, please read: Here are the reasons for the protest: All they are asking for is DEMOCRACY, where they can find the basic foods in supermarkets without doing a line for hours, where you can find toilet paper, milk and medicines. Hospitals cant function because there are no medicines or gauze, the power goes out all the time too, this would be the worst time to have a hospital emergency. Venezuela has the highest inflation rate in the world at 57% and the death toll for 2013 was of more than 24,000 people and somehow we are the fifth oil exporter in the world and the country with the largest oil reserve. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!? we are so rich and yet so poor. The answer is clear, the corruption ranking for Venezuela in 2013 is 160 out of 177 countries, we have some of the more corrupt government and this needs to come to an end. After 38 days of protest, violence and deaths, Venezuela is still suffering and in deep need of help and attention, the media is still manipulated and completely censored and news coverage is non existent because the government doesnt want to inform the nation and doesnt want the truth to come out. Please watch this video and share this with your friends so they can all be informed about Venezuela. Copy this text too so they know the importance of this video. We need to put the spot light on the fact that the fight for freedom and basic human rights is not over just because nobody hears about it on the news, the protests will continue until we are heard and things change for the best. We will continue to loose amazing young fighters on unfair war, where one group is heavily armed with machine guns and war tanks and the other carries protest signs and Venezuelan Flags.
