To all my sistas/Goddesses: Listen to a woman who has been there & everywhere. Ive compromised a list of successful living & it is as follows: 1. Know who you are. 2. Maintain your independence, self-sufficiency & self-reliance. 3. Get some balls, take risks & overcome your fears. 4. Forget the conditioning of what a woman is suppose to be. Before we are men & women, we are people first. You are human & do not carry around the illogical guilt that has been passed on by life, religion, family or friends that do not serve any positive purpose in your life. 5. Dont feel guilty about being yourself. 6. Be strong, be assertive, be ambitious, be who you want to be. 7. Relationships are beautiful & love is the purpose, but you are not required to be a martyr or a sacrificial lamb for anyone. 8. If your whole life since you were a little girl was striving for that one day that you will walk down the isle & marry your Prince Charming. Ask your self this: Is this the best thing you can come up with for the dream of your life? If your answer is yes, then that is your purpose, as this can be the path of some women & this is their talent. The problem with this dream is it requires a man who will follow the ideal & if he does not, this dream is dependent on others & therefore has the potential to fail. God bless the mothers, housewives & single moms that hold it down. 9. People pleasing is for corporate marketing strategy, as that is their sole income. Do you get paid for pleasing people when you dont really want to & are you met with ungrateful behavior from people who dont care? Dont bother. 10. Please yourself. If you are not happy, no one is. If your happy at the expense of others, you ultimately wont be happy. 11. Stay away from married men, men with gfs, whether or not they tell you they are not happy & planning to leave. You will be a rebound, transitional, band aid & the one to lick their wounds, just so they can go right back to the woman they really love. Be plan A, not plan B. In fact, if a man just gets out of a relationship give him time to purge the first woman first. By all means, do not knowingly start a relationship with a man who is still in a relationship. This makes him a liar to both you & her. 12. Unless children & marriage are involved, which makes things complicated, staying with a man who has cheated is a disaster, if hes a liar, this can be an insanity for you & if youre a cheating liar, then this may be a perfect pair, in that case carry on. 13. More importantly, love yourself. Love yourself in ways that anyone else should love you & dont be afraid to be alone, if you cant be alone, you may not like yourself much & if you cant be with yourself, who else will want to be with you. 14. Women have an instinct & an intuition about things. Listen to it, follow it & honor it. 15. Pay attention to your own life & be about the business of your goals & plans. You are a woman, you are a Goddess, you were not born to be enslaved, you were born for empowerment & this is what it means to be a Queen. God Bless MY Sisters! Honor yourselves & honor other sisters & everyone else. We are the mothers of the world & the example of future generations.
