To all my wonderful loving friends that sent prayers for my sons surgery today. As most of you know he was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue. It was a very extensive surgery with skin graphs to rebuild and a neck dissection to take lymph nodes. We told him he looked like Frankenstien and he grinned. The prognosis is encouraging. He is in ICU for a couple of days and then will be moved to a regular room. GOOD NEWS no cancer was found in the jaw bones. And the surgeon was very happy about that. We will know in 3-4 days on course of treatment, more then likely radiation. AGAIN thank you all for the prayers! Scott and I are so appreciative for you all.
