To all my young soldiers who may still be with the 1st Infantry Division. Even though some of you may have deployed before, do not for a minute think this will be like 07 -10 deployments. Be on your guard, remember your training, and take care of each other. If I can engrain one thing into your bank of morals it is this... Not one of you can do the job on your own, look to each other for it is all you have while youre there. Put aside your differences and become a unit, not in the sense of a company or platoon, but in the sense of being one entity with a common goal, to come home safe. Be tough, honorable, and be vigilant. I will not be there this go around but my thoughts and prayers will be with you 100%. If any of you need something while youre there do not hesitate to message me with your info and I will do what I can to get you some creature comforts.
