To all new moms out there, The first year of your childs life is undoubtedly challenging. You go through a whole gamut of emotions you never knew existed, and face unprecedented challenges. Yet you soldier on bravely, doing the best that you can. Sometimes you are hard on yourself because you expect to do and be better for your child, and sometimes you get frustrated because nothing seems to work when baby is upset. Today we want you to know that its okay not to know what to do sometimes. Parenting isnt something that comes with a textbook; while you can learn principles, skills, and tools along the way, its something that gets better with practice. Forgive yourself for not knowing it all, and for not being perfect. None of us are, anyway. Right? All that matters is that we continue trying to be and to do the best that we can. So keep your chin up and a broad smile on your face. Know that you are loved by your family ... and by us as well! And if you are celebrating a first year, a first month, or even a first week ... congrats, Mom. You are doing well. Youre doing an amazing job, and youll get better as each day passes.
