To all of you who caught breast cancer in time...who got rid of it with surgery...who didnt have to have chemo...or radiation or even have to take tamoxifen ...You cant call yourself a survivor ...You may be asked the question Are you still going through treatments? When you say you didnt have to go through any you should be embarrassed to say you were ever diagnosed. Forget the fact that you have to look at your mutilated ...butchered body every day and know it will never look the same. It doesnt matter that you spend every day stressing over those enormous cancer bills that youll never understand much less be able to pay...who cares if you deal with exhaustion from the pain that leaves you unable to function... Youre one of the LUCKY ones! ...since cancer didnt almost kill you...you dont qualify for any help ....you should be grateful youre alive! ...the emotional toll? The asking Why me? the fear Will it come back again!! Everybody knows youre ok now. So stop feeling sorry for yourself and suck it up! You dont have cancer anymore so get over yourself ... Right??
