To all who participated in the protests today: Thank you for forcing schools to close early so that the children have to make it up later. Thank you for shutting down the farm at which my boyfriend works. It isnt really like he needs the money. Thank you for endangering your lives and others by causing a traffic upset. Most of all, thank you for making this about getting your face on television instead of what you say is your cause. Thank you for displaying ignorance by acting foolishly. Thank you for creating one more problem whIle you claim to be the solution. Think about how your actions will affect the world around you. Stop punishing people to get your point across. Oh, and Im not addressing black people. I am in no way racist. This was for EVERYONE - black, white, and green - who blocked off these roads and made today difficult for so many people. I hope you all got to shake hands with Jesse Jackson or whatever. Good on ya!
