To answer Bill Thompsons question, this IS a moderated page since there are two Admins but neither Admin appears interested in organizing the Group. There are three types of FB structures, a Personal page, the Fan page (AKA Business Page), and the Group page, which can be open, closed, or secret. This is a public (open) Group page. Best practices with Groups employs a short description along with simple rules. There arent any guidelines here and that results in a hodge lodge of postings from anyone which typically leads to members leaving. Typically, Groups are non-commercial and do not allow any advertising of products or services. This includes private parties. Just my opinion: Groups are for discussions of various contextual topics. If you want to sell something, start a Fan page or go to Craigslist or wherever.
