To answer Craig Henry - Hi @Craig Henry; absolutely! The rear triangle was goosed so we went to the GT team tent in the afternoon and they gave us a second hand unit. We spend the night taking the old one off (with borrowed tools from the guys in the room next door as we only had a Kool Tool!) Our spares consisted of a two inner tubes for the entire race - Rory Hitchens stood at the finish line with one and I had the other in my camera bag as I travelled from top to bottom of the course in the ski lift. The pic below from Tom Moran shows Jason waiting for his helicopter ride back to the top for the final run. Note the big rip in his pants; this is where he fell in his first race at Mammoth - that volcanic dust is super abrasive. When we went back to Reno for the flight to Hunter Mountain, New York, we had to walk a couple of miles to the pharmacy to buy bandages and antiseptic to clean up the wounds. I have got a pic somewhere that will be on in the next few days. If you are wondering why things have been so quiet, its because Jasons Mum has been really poorly for a couple of years and is especially down at this sad time of year. Send her a smile to cheer her up guys!
