To be a true teacher in the martial arts is not the black belt you wear. To many think that as soon they receive a black belt they become a teacher.....to many so called black belts got it in their minds that they are the greatest teacher ever walking this earth....and are great experts. The entitlement is only given for years of training not teaching but some buy the entitlement not given by blood sweat and tears. We have to many wannabe weekend warrior teachers in the martial arts world that open their mouth claiming they are the greatest of all.....brain dead teachers who create large brain farts teaching bullshit. First and foremost you have to learn and perfect the basics of the foundation of your art. Still does not make you a teacher....next you have to know yourself from the inner soul.....next you have to study your floor and understand your floor.....you have to study each student as an individual and look within them......you have to understand true aspects of life and living and dying. If you DONT understand your floor then trying to understand each student will be nothing but dead air non functional teacher. Because you wear a black belt bought or given to you by blood sweat and tears still it does not qualify you as a teacher.....a true teacher is found within the soul not the pocket. We have to many wannabe brain dead teachers carrying to many titles of teachers who are not true teachers......the black belt DONT make you a teacher or an expert. Receiving a black belt is the beginning of your real training not as a teacher. Teachers that are true come from the soul not from the pocket of a brain dead wannabe teacher title....The Sword.
