To be absent from the body, is to be present with the lord…. I heard this said at my dads funeral. I have had to dig deep to try and understand what this means. In the process, I have started to absorb a lot of Gods word and It is very comforting. Can anyone maybe give me their opinion as to where our souls go to rest until judgement day. If we walk with jesus as soon as we take out last breath, why do we have a judgment day? Basically Im asking, does every soul go to be with Jesus until God judges and sends us to our final place for eternity? This is a very serious question I have and I normally wouldnt put myself out there in this way but that is what we are doing here…Learning
