To be short and to the point, I think the reason we are not seeing any Shenmue releases is because of licensing, copyrights to music, and misc issues. After the recent news coming out about Giocorsis statements at PSX and some of the past events, I really think its not a matter of us being ignored but more of a long time process to get it done. It seems that Sony is trying to pull some cowboyish moves in the gaming industry by getting things done that were thought to be impossible. I currently see that people are upset that Yakuza 5 was announced but no Shenmue news. This seems to be a good thing in my mind, that Yakuza 5 is now a reality. This shows that Sony is going out of their way to perform certain feats to most likely keep their for the gamers image secure. It was also just recently announced that Giocorsi has been spoken to by our very own Matthew Kilpatrick, and he has express interest in the series and even is a fan himself. Also, on Neogaf someone had stated that Shenmue was the #1 requested game but is held back by lots of issues This is why I always say that there is much more than meets the eye when it comes to the series. Its not about us getting ignored, its about the fact that the game we all fight for is a beast that has a lot going for it. It is a legal hell. Keep on fighting. #SaveShenmue
