To celebrate “World Oceans Day”, team members of our sister property - Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa - will paddle 30 km tomorrow between the islands in Maldives to raise funds for “Coral Reef Alliance”, an organization dedicated to the preservation of coral reefs. They intend to raise atleast $2000. Coral reefs are believed to have the highest biodiversity of any ecosystem on the planet - even more than a tropical rainforest. Occupying less than one percent of the ocean floor, coral reefs are home to more than 25 % of marine life. It is critical that we protect them.
