To continue this argument (as its a good one). Dave says we need to smarten up, Baz says green, Simon says lets just all wear different tops and fling a badge on. We are the most forward thinking club in terms of promoting kids, families to play bowls and whinge about uniform more than any other club, yet we do nothing in terms of improving our image. Paul Heath quoted on this page weeks ago why dont you be the leaders and by Christ hes right!! - The tops we got (10 years ago) were shit and over-expensive (granted). We have 2 decent options this time - we go for basic polo tops and sew on for less than a tenner each of any colour FFS or we spend £20-£25 and get proper shirts but then its a big ask to get everyone to wear them bearing in mind everyone has to! - I think we should at least pick a club colour then get 50 shirts of that colour and sew badges on for each member. A tenner each on top of £36 yearly fees isnt a large amount. Bowls is still the cheapest sport in the history of the world.
