To day i went to a shopping mall where i found a white temporary cubicle with prominent display.It said to have free medical check up.Although i do not have any medical problem I went in.There are three young staff members with white coates who gave a paper to fill in our personal details.After few minutes checking up about my health records from NHS, they said that they cannot check me as i am on anti hypertensive tablets.When i asked them the criteria for check up they sowed me a display poster of nearly ten exvlusion conditions.They are no cardiac problem,no kidney problem and many other conditions which virtually excudes every one except an imaginary one with no disease at all.I asked them why do a healthy person need to seek health advice for which they did not have a satisfactory answer I have not seen the staff members seeing any other person.I am sure the whole day they may not see more than possibly one person.I t is a clear example of drainng of GOVTs money I do not know whose idea is to set up this type money wasting programme.It is is a known fact that UK NHS has funding gap of £2.5 Bn.This clinic is one of the useless programme Can some one bring it to the notice of a sane NHS excutive.
