To every facebook friend I have, every person I know. I am as embarrassed as one can be, as an American, and a Veteran. Our President, our Senate, and our Congress, are just plain gutless. And it knaws at my crawl, worse then death. Two Americans beheaded publicly, in view of the whole world, and we do nothing. An Ambassador in Bengazi, executed, and our government plays it down into something it wasnt. We have lost so much respect from the rest of the world, and are now considered a weak nation. Were being looked at by other nations with utter disdain. That our government cant even solve problems in our own country. It takes a scandal for our government to take care of our Veterans that come home broken physically, or mentally. Many people say we should never have gone to Iraq. Regardless of why we went there, we went there.! Then we cut and run.? Leave it unfinished.? Our recent history repeats itself. Cut and run. Right now, ISIS is crucifying, stoning, beheading, burying alive, and shooting to death, anyone that was the least bit friendly with Americans there. Including children. There is a video out where ISIS militants make a 9 yr old boy dig a large hole with his bare hands. They made him kneel next to the hole and shot him in the head. Why.? Because he brought some water to American soldiers, in exchange for some candy when he was 7 yrs old. He was begging for his life, and the militants just laugh...Im crying for that nine year old right now..... Is it gonna take another incident like the World Trade Center, or worse to our government to change its gutless behavior.?!!! It matters NOT, what your political affiliation, color, or religion is. These terrorists want to kill us all.! To them, we are all infidels.....Right now the people of the United States are not united...... People, you better open your eyes. Our complacent, impotent congress is failing us miserably. Theyve become gutless.
