To everyone bashing the Ice Bucket Challenge, I give you the always-awesome Jim Beaver, taking the challenge in the name of his friend who sadly passed away from ALS. And a special up yours to those fighting against funding for this disease because OMG they use embryonic stem cells WAARGARBL! I have tried to understand this viewpoint and I just cant, and to me placing a clump of cells that IS NOT and CANNOT be a human being over live, feeling people who suffer from a terrible disease is a horrible thing to do and stands in defiance of the very morality you claim to uphold. I can respect having that view even if I dont agree with it, but I cant with those actively discouraging and fighting against research to find a treatment/cure for a horrible illness.
