To everyone who aspires for a Teacher I position in DepEd. Heres a few tips I can share: 1. Prepare all the documents you have to comply. Arrange it in a folder where files can be easily located. During my time, I placed everything in a clear book. I even design a cover page that highlights my name and my teaching philosophy. 2. Submit your portfolio to the HR officer of your desired school within your area. Make sure that he/she handed your files completely. 3. Keep your phones active all the time. Schedule of interview, demo of skills, teaching demo, and EPT will be announced before the scheduled date. But during my time, I wasnt informed. Good thing, a friend of mine informed me 2 days prior the schedule. Hahaha! 4. Keep yourself calm and relax. Always do your best shot and just be prepared. Just be yourself and always pray to Him. 5. Wait for the results after couple of weeks and just wait for an SMS/call from the school head inviting you to be part of their team. 6. Grab the opportunity and be the best educator in our country. The country needs you!
