To find out why a person acts and lives a certain way you have to gain a better understanding of that person. You have to talk with that person before you began to criticize. The last month or so I have been trying to gain a better understanding of the gang situation so the only way to do that was through conversations with those people. Somehow I was pushed into this roll of trying to make a difference. I do in a way understand the decisions of these young men and women to join gangs. Its a sense of belonging to someone or something. We all want to be a part of something. A lot of these youngsters are out there living in this world on their own and when someone presents the opportunity to be a part of something they jump at that chance. The violence and downside of that lifestyle isnt planned but it comes with the territory. The senseless violence is definitely not needed but it happens because these gangs have gotten away from the purpose they were created. To understand you have to research the history of these gangs. They were first implemented to protect their neighborhoods but they have gotten away from that. The whole meaning and purpose of gang life is in an uproar. All I can say is young brothers and sisters start researching the history of your gangs and get back to those roots because you are doing your own form of population control. #PenToPaperToEat youtu.be/UJD1oDKKMdM
