“To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19 (NKJV) “For we are GOD’s handiwork, created in CHRIST Jesus to do good works, which GOD prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) Does GOD know that you have issues and problems? Yes, HE does. HEs’s quite aware of the laundry list of areas you’ve been working on so you can please HIM better with your life. But know this. When GOD looks at you HE doesn’t see some sinful, dirty, ugly, terrible mess of a person. HE doesn’t look at you frown. HE looks at you and smile because HE made you and HE sees JESUS in you. The spirit of condemnation can cause us to see only our flaws and weaknesses and we tend to forget everything good that GOD has placed in us. Sometimes GOD will send someone our way to remind us, “Hey, ever since I’ve known you, you’ve always been so thoughtful and caring of others.” “You know you are a really good person. You have a good and kind heart.” They remind us of who we are overall. Let GOD Spirit remind you today of every strength HE’s given you. It’s HE that works in you both to will and to do of HIS good pleasure. Yes, HE prunes, corrects, builds and grow us, but while HEs working on the not-so-lovely areas keep on glorifying HIM with your life. Ask yourself these questions today. What do I love about how GOD made me? What are my strengths? What can I do that really blesses others? What gift has GOD given me and how can I glorify GOD with it? FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for speaking to my heart this morning. I receive YOUR LOVE and YOUR GRACE. Thank YOU for making me the way YOU did. YOU didn’t come to destroy me but to save me. It’s not YOU condemning me, that’s the enemy and I rebuke him now. I focus my eyes on YOU and on who I am in CHRIST. Be glorified in me. In JESUS NAME, AMEN. (Read Romans 8:1; Philippians 2:13) FATHER GOD, I come to YOU. No, I run to YOU. I am so desperate for YOU to fill me. Forgive me for looking in any other place for what only YOU can do. Every place in me that’s hurting and lacking, fill it GOD! I pour out my heart before YOU and I ask that YOU fill me up with YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, fill me up with YOUR LOVE, fill me with knowledge of YOUR will and give me spiritual understanding. Fill this hole in my heart and satisfy it completely with YOUR LOVE. In JESUS NAME, AMEN. (Read Psalms 62:8; James 4:8; Acts 13:52; Colossians 1:19)
