To know what this dog has been through, is to know suffering...followed closely by, always-- especially with dogs-- resilience and triumph! Belle... sweet, sweet Belle. If you have ever hated or thought slightly less of the pit bull type dog, you will change your opinion once youve met our Belle. She cozied right up to Taco, as she did with us, and seemingly made a conscious effort to love people again, despite all shes been through. I can see the gears turning in her head as she makes the decision to trust, be confident with, accept and love. She is about 35 pounds underweight--horrifically thin--but has made it our ok. No serious internal issues and has been having glorious bowl movements along with outstanding appetite (6 small meals per day). She has pulled her self half way out of this demoralizing pit, and now we must help her up the rest of the way. How great is her before and after picture going to look!?
