Spirit exists beyond any ideas, we are that free spirit. So yes the simplicity of something like Advaita Vedanta should be at the core of any spiritual discipline, otherwise it may become a spiritual trap. I find the simplicity of Advaita/Eckhart Tolle is the perfect compliment to my Yogic practice.
