To mark the World Diabetes Day 2014 Dr. Srikanths Diabetes Specialities Centre [DSDSC] - Vijayawada has organized EYE ON DIABETES event to encourage people with eye diseases to get screened for diabetes and to control it effectively for better ophthalmic outcomes. All India Ophthalmological Society Aravinda Lasik Laser Eye Hospital, has partnered us in this effort where a Free body mass index, blood pressure, blood sugar testing, and retinal eye screening tests with colour printouts were done to individuals with diabetes. A seminar on “control Diabetes for your Eyes” was organized to the camp attendees in the highest interactive way possible.
