To me supporting Medicare for All is a moral argument -- Health costs (the care is a different though related entity) should be covered in a way that is simplest, most cost effective, with an incentive to pay the providers of care rather than deny payment. Private insurance fails all of the above. It has multiple administrative layers designed to challenge all who apply for payment, it has around 5 times the administrative overhead (Medicare about 3%, private companies 15-20% for admin costs-NOT going to pay for care), and has an incentive to create profit for shareholders by denying care when possible. It is an immoral system for health care.
