To my Dhaka Students, Im Sorry. As you read these few words - TopicsExpress

To my Dhaka Students, Im Sorry. As you read these few words from the heart, I began writing whilst sitting on an Etihad flight back to Toronto after visiting all of you for 3 days. Initially, our plan was to get together for the weekend and study one of my favorite topics, A-Z, Love and Mercy Fiqh of Marriage and Divorce. However, Allah swt had a different plan. Dhaka, since our first meeting back in 2012 for the Epic Journey course, my heart has become humbled and attached with all of you. For 2.5 years, I tossed and turned in my life in anticipation that one day If Allah decrees, I will see all of you again. This reminded me of Umar (r) who used to toss and turn in his bed all night because he couldnt wait to see his brother in Islam the following day, Muath Ibn Jabal (r). That time had finally come. We began the class, we laughed, recited some Quran and got right into our discussion. The stage was set, the audio was clear, the energy couldnt have been better and things just seemed right. After 2 hrs, a whisper came to my ears from one of the organizers that it was time to leave urgently and I would be briefed later on. Considering my initial feeling of how serious it sounded, I cooperated. As the day progressed, the reasons were made clear to me and the decision to post pone the course and have me on the first flight out was a decision I am grateful for. Dhaka, I would like all of you to know the following: - Alkauthar/Mercy Mission first priority is to ensure the safety and security of all their instructors. They have always done a superb job with this. May Allah swt keep continue to give them strength. - Since this incident, The Bros/Sisters of Mercy Mission have been working diligently on the matter striving every single day as we speak to resolve this issue and continue to offer more courses in the future inshallah. - Dont allow one hiccup to sway you away from supporting all the good that Alkauthar/Mercy Mission has done. I believe you all have entertained more than 15 courses alhamdulilah, dont let this one course detour you. This is the sunnah of righteousness. Allah swt will always put us in our place and periodically not allow things to go as planned so that we always remember, He is in charge. Allah says: Do the people think that they will be left to say, We believe and they will not be tested? 29:1 - Finally, this one is from me. With over 20 hours flying, I had alot of time to think and alot of tears to shed. I realized that I was never suppose to complete this course with all of you in the first place. As a matter of fact, that was the real blessing for me and you. Allah says: And give glad tidings to those who are patient 2: 155 Allah tells me this after He says that He will test us with food, security, children etc. Why am I being congratulated with Glad tidings of patience after loosing so many precious things? The answer, Allah swt was teaching me to be patient. This was the real gift for all of us. Patience is a quality of the inhabitants of Paradise. Allah wanted us to taste a bit of it right now. I hope all of you taste how delicious patience really is ( smile ). Finally, Dhaka, know that If we never have an opportunity to see each other again, realize that there are many more instructors you will be gifted with that are far more qualified than me. Support them, accept them and embrace them the same way you have always embraced me. I love you all for the sake of pleasing Al-Qadir. I pray we have an opportunity to meet again and study this beautiful way of life again however If not, May Allah swt reunite us in his paradise. Allahuma Ameen. For whatever its worth, Im sorry all this happened. Your brother, Musleh Khan #alkauthardhaka #mercymission #alkautharcanada
