To my F/B friends : There is pending legislation in the Suffolk County legislature to permit an Assistant Principal to double diip. This legislation would permit an Assistant Principal who makes in excess of $125k (that includes Retirement and Health Benefits) to serve as a full time County Legislator. This legislation would replace a County Law which would prohibit this. The current law stated as part of its legislative intent that the law (as it now stands) that its function was to instill trust in government. The new law seeks to circumvent it.
