To my amazing Friends, Family, and Robot Family, For over 9 years Ive given every ounce I have to all that I do. Whether that is being a mom, wife, entrepreneur, CEO, friend, PTO officer, coach, volunteer, student, emcee, or shower singer. Especially shower singer. Every ounce. Because I love life. I love magic. I love making magical things happen in other peoples lives. But lately Ive been broken. I am broken. I have a serious medical issue but have been too stubborn, too resistant, and frankly too arrogant to admit it. To deal with it. Really deal with it. Luckily for me I have the most amazing friend in the world who helped slap me into reality (Maria). So, Im going on medical leave. Yeah. Crazy right? Me? Go on leave? Yup. At least 3 months. Im going to turn all of that sun-shiny awesomeness onto myself and get better. It will be long, and hard, and painful. Honestly Im terrified from stepping away from my life; from stepping away from all of you. Im even more terrified (finally) about what would happen if I was torn from it. I love you all oodles. We will be turning off my phone and rerouting my emails. If my doctor has her way I wont even get Facebook (too easy for teams to reach me to conduct business over messenger). But we will see.
