To my facebook friends , In my opinion about the police shooting which involve Michael Brown near St Louis. Police officers are there to protect and serve us all black, white, yellow, blue, green etc. I have read and listen to a lot of things since the shooting some I agree on and some I do not, In America we have a criminal justice system rules and laws are put in place for a reason they may not be perfect but they are design to keep order and balance in what is supposed to be a civilized America, keep in mind we as humans are not perfect. Let’s not ignore some parts of the story, a video came out showing this young man stealing from a store and being real tough about it. The police was called to do a job and the end result was this young man losing his life. People like to challenge the police on every turn because they enforce the law that politicians have put in place. We all have done something wrong in life sometimes we get caught and sometimes we do not. So I say all this to make a point about doing wrong. The wrong started with Mr. Brown stealing which ultimately lead to his death he was not on his way to school, church or work and the police gunned him down, he was stealing being a criminal, had he followed the police instructions and complied I am almost certain he may still be here today, if the police had shot him once and killed him some would be mad and upset because he was black and the officer was white. America has a long long history of racism, we all know this, but as black Americans we should not put ourselves in the cross hire to be shot by the police. I work hard every day and would not want anyone stealing from me, if the officer is found to have been overzealous in his actions he will and should be punished. This comes from a Black male who work as a civilian for a police department and has been in the security field for many years and have seen a lot. NO! he should not have been shot X- amount of times & NO! he should have not be stealing. I don’t agree with him being killed and I don’t agree with him stealing either. Let s put our HANDS UP! for better jobs and education in America for all.. Remember in my opinion.
