To my friends that were a part of bringing A Few Good Men to the Streetcar Company stage I want to share what I learned and appreciated from each of you. Before I do, I want to thank each of you for accepting into the theater family like you have. This role was immense in scale from anything I had done previously. I was challenged, stressed, nervous, and downright scared sometimes. Each of you in your own way shook my hand, gave me a high five, encouraged me, helped me, taught me, and touched me. For all of that I am extremely grateful. Every good word or handshake I received at the end of each show was in a major way a good word and a handshake for you as well. Jessica J Alward - You are an amazing director. You trusted me in a huge role even when I had virtually no experience on stage much less in a leading role. I am forever in your debt for making me look as good as you did. I am indebted to you for taking such a huge leap of faith. Raelyn - You are such a wonderful person and a sheer joy to be around. Thank you for producing such a great show. Thank you also for the patience you displayed during those awful rehearsals when it probably felt like I didnt even know the name of the show much less my lines. You are one of the best! Hillary Ayers - I was excited from the beginning to know you were cast in such a firm role. You made an amazing transformation from quiet and meek to strong and forceful. You grew more than anyone else in this show in my eyes. It was all of those nights of practice that got us to the point where we could put on a great show. You were unbelievable and I hope to be in many more shows with you. Scott Alward - I know you dont have Facebook so I hope someone reads this to you like a four year old. You are truly funny and I enjoyed every minute figuring out what you would say next. Our scenes were always laugh out loud funny. In many ways I think we were separated at birth...I got the looks though. Doreen Fotino Sheppard - Where to begin. When this journey began, we had never met. I wasnt sure how we would build any chemistry in such a short time. I loved that in the end the audience truly believed what you felt about me and truly believed what I felt about you. You were fantastic and it came through every minute you were on stage. You still annoy me though. Rick Kincaid - Early on, I felt no animosity towards you. We were saying our lines and making it through the script. As the weeks went on, the tension began to build. We found a place where we could present a very believable relationship. You are a great actor and I cant wait to see what you do next. Rodney Martell - Oh, Rodney. Where to begin. I dont want to repeat what I said in Les Miserables but I think it is worth repeating a bit. I think you are an amazing actor. Every scene, every preparation, every minute you are there...you mesmerize me. You have been and always will be the level of actor I hope to achieve. You my friend are a star. Braeden Alward - You ARE a great actor. Every scene with you was intense and had real emotion. You played Dawson perfectly. Like Trevor M. Lewis - You played Downey perfect. I always had a smile when you were on the stand. I wish you well in all things you do young man. Evan Lazdowski - Another perfect casting. Your passion for every role that you have shows. I would happily be in any show you are in. Eric - You are a very funny man. You were warm and endearing. Like a cartoon squirrel. Remind me to never walk into a forest with you. Doug - Your timing on by a leash if necessary will forever be ingrained in my mind. You made a great judge and a perfect voice for the character. Johan Andersen - You could not have been a more perfect doctor. The way you explained the situation was almost like a warm blanket. Your speech and timing are impeccable for that character. You were really great. Kylieh Anne Farley - No fries for you! Seriously though, you are a joy to be around. You have a full life of acting in front of you...enjoy it. Riley Alward - Get a watch young man! Seriously though, as usual you played your part perfectly. Saturday night...you saved my butt. Thank you. Saphaedra Renee - You are a funny girl. Thank you for the nonstop humor and goofing off. You were great in your role...keep it up! Melissa M Bigler - Thank you for the hours of running lines at the library. You helped me out in a major way! Dont be a stranger neighbor. Peter - Best props guy in the business. New what I needed before I even needed it. Thank you soon and I hope to see you in the next show. Jen - Thank you for lighting. Even when things went wrong, you found a way to get them right. Andréa Corning - Im not sure exactly what you did, but I bet it was great :) See you all in January, if Im allowed :) I will miss you all.
