To my horror, forced pitbull fighting is alive and well. This should stop ASAP! It is the cruelest form of animal abuse I have seen and heard of in a utube video. Of course, everyone looks the other way. Thats not right. Too many people have a misconception of the pitbull and think it is a brutal dog. NO! IT IS the owner of the dogs who force their pitbulls to fight, often shooting them up with steroids. Then, if their dog loses, it is a bloody and painful for the dog. The owner might beat him for losing, torture, strave him, and I have heard that some people, on the level of Hitler, are so cruel they actually set their dogs on fire! as if the poor dog has not suffered enough. There needs to be tough law enforcement outlawing pitbull fighting...heavy jail time for the cruel people who do this. This is like torturing a human...same thing....I wish Congress would stop fracking our environment and ban pitbull fighting within every state. That policemen who have had tips, go and stop the fights and make arrests and jail time up to 15 years for the cruelty they have done! Its bad enough we have horse slaughter, puppy mills, and the worst of worst is the poor pitbull, a basically loving breed if raised correctly, and is the most maligned of all animals. I would hope that President Obama would do something about this. Make a speech about animal abuse, especially with regards to the pitbulls and horse slaughter. Katherine Jankay CA 93101
