To my liberal friends, We have had many debates over the subject of the supposed separation of church and state. I have been told over and over that religion has no place in politics by those who are offended by religion, ambivalent to religion and militant anti-religious. They tell me that Im a fear monger because i believe that the government thinks its ok to take away my rights as a Christian. For those of you my liberal friends, see my case in point, Houston mayoral office subpoenas pastors sermons to ensure they dont violate law. Please explain to me exactly what law, that isnt in direct opposition to the, shall not be infringed upon, portion of the second amendment, we are breaking by speaking out against this bathroom law? You vociferously challenge conservatives when it comes to your own pet topics, tolerance, equality and individual rights. Where are you now? Where is our right to speak as we choose? Is it that you want equality, but only if we agree? I dont agree with your platform, but I stand with you and have fought for your right to have it. You may not agree with my platform, but are you willing to stand and fight for my right to have it? Do you think the abuse will end when us bible beaters are silenced? Put up or shut up time. Rant over.
