To my poor weary brain: Please come up with a better defense mechanism to heal yourself post-stroke than falling asleep all the time!!! Its not doing me a world of good here!!! Signed, The Body. Well, my brain did it again. Due to post-stroke fatigue, I ended up hitting the snooze again this morning after the alarm went off, and again, I had similar results as the other morning. My brain carried me away into the Land of Nod, with very predictable results. This time, I was recording an album full of duets!!! Thats right; I was singing love songs with an attractive young blonde female singer (some girl I dont know from Eve; my mind somehow conjured her up from thin air), and we were having the time of our lives!!! I swear, it was crazy!!! Let me just say that she was playing Kiki Dee to my Elton John, which should give you a clue as to one of the songs recorded. Yep, we did a cover of Dont Go Breaking My Heart.. Its funny, folks; this song always seems to pop up in my dreams!!! I cant explain why, but... I also cannot explain what possessed my brain to conjure up this blonde girl and cause her to sing and record a bunch of duets with little old me, save for the fact that my brain is a wee bit scrambled after my stroke!!! Whats a guy like me to do in a situation like that?!!? I mean, its bizarre!!! Leave it to me, a guy whos only about a month post-stroke, to have a brain so addled as to conjure up such wild fantasies about hanging around with unknown women and recording albums of love songs!!! Lordy be!!!
