To my unionist-voting LGBT friends: May I ask you, in the UK general election due to take place in May 2015, PLEASE do NOT vote for ANY of the following anti-LGBT parties; TUV, DUP, PUP, UKIP. Please, vote instead for your Sinn Féin candidate, who will ensure that we get equality before the law, as we deserve. It will not put the union at risk, since SF has agreed to wait for a majority vote in favour of a united Ireland in order to bring same about. Even with your vote in this election, they couldnt get that yet, so a protest vote against the staid, tired, divisive, ultra-right wing, fundamentalist Christian extremists in the parties mentioned will NOT risk the union, while it WILL put the wind up the homo haters and allow the Assembly to get LGBT equality voted onto the statute books, at long last! NO Conscience Clause. NO gay blood ban. YES to LGBT marriage equality. NO H8! Please vote for the Shinner in your electoral ward in the general election, this time out. Lets get equality and acceptance, not just tolerance!
