To our new Face Book Friends and our current Face Book Friends, Your response to our video made by USDOTNHTSA has been overwhelming! Liz and I are so excited that there are so many wonderful people like you who want to help us spread the message about the dangers of texting while driving. I want to share a moment that happened to Liz last week. First of all we live in a wonderful community. They have been very supportive of Liz and her message. But last week someone made a cruel and hurtful comment to Liz when I was not with her and she was hurt. Really hurt.I reminded her of all the 100s of other wonder people we have met and know ,but Liz is a young woman trying to come to terms with what has happened to her. And it is hard for her to understand that there are unkind people in this world. But thats is life. I told her we can end this campaign now. How you feel is more important to me than anything. Of course my strong Liz said no. I need and have to do this. Later on that evening I asked God , am I doing the right thing by letting Liz go on with her campaign. Should I stop her. Life is hard. Life is really hard for Liz right now. What do I do? Help me. And then one week later we wake up to people calling us telling us our video went viral! And there are thousands of people who want to friend Liz and they are sending words of kindness,love and encouragement. I can not thank you enough. We are still reading each and every post and message sent to us. Liz is on cloud 9! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for answering my prayer. Liz is now stronger and more determined than ever to spread her message and possibly save someones life. Please drive safe and Do Not Text n Drive! Sincerely, Betty
