To prepare for upcoming Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) testing this week, third and fourth grade students at Cambridge Elementary made shirts and banners. The theme for this year’s tests has been “Olympics: Going for the Gold”. Each student created a shirt with the Olympic rings on the front and their class name on the back. These shirts are being worn every day for MAP testing this week. Each class also created a banner with the Olympic rings, using their hand prints. On April 27, students participated in a ‘Torch Run’ down the halls while other students in the building cheered them on. Students in grades K-2 also wrote notes and drew pictures of encouragement for all MAP testers. For more information, call Cambridge at 816-348-1008.
