To put things into perspective, over in South Korea, Starcraft professional players were brought to motivate the Korean football team to play better in the World Cup. Professional gamers are heroes in their eyes. These gamers are where professional footballers drew their strengths from. Thats already how far gaming has gone in one part of the world. Over in China, Dota is the equivalent of Starcraft in Korea. Close to 1/5 of the world is already giving huge recognition to the gaming industry. When will people living in this region that is so close to the Asian powerhouses start to see past the fronts of gaming industry, and look into the massive entertainment and business opportunities behind scene. Plenty of leading brands have already tapped into the potentials, largely in the form of marketing and advertising, brand strengthening, and brand exposure level, as of this moment. When is the day we start take the lead instead ?
